This is the text on the second page of my book. It clearly says, ‘any unauthorised use of this publication to train generative artificial intelligence technologies is expressly prohibited.’ But Meta doesn’t give a f*ck. This does not just concern authors. The outrage about these tech companies doing whatever the hell they like should be highly concerning to anyone who hopes that their children will have jobs in the future. Or that they can read a book written by a human being.

This makes me so f#*ing furious. Meta has stolen my novel, which took years to write and has been out for less than three months, and used it to train AI to write novels. How is this seriously happening??? And everyone’s like ‘yeah it’s pretty bad’ and then … nothing. It is daylight robbery.
